B , a puclla publica, aged about 28, was attacked with cholera while an inmate of the Lock Hospital. Vomiting and purging commenced at 8 p. m. on 27th May, and both continued, with remissions varying froiu half an hour to one hour, until 7 a m. of 28th. After this the intervals were longer, and about midday of 29th the evacuations entirely ceased ; a purgative being subsequently required. Except quite at the commencement, both vomit and stools were throughout watery and colourless.
